As nearly every genre the rock genre had several so
called subgenres. We busy ourselves here with the subgenre Glam Rock.
Bands as T. Rex, Sweet or Slade, Suzi Quatro or naturally Gary Glitter near
many others more were the protagonists of the seventies.
And as the name says, it was not only rock music what was performed, a stage outfit was established which was a real countermovement to the hippie-/ethno- or gypsy style. Glam or glitter rockbands liked to show their flashy glitter costumes, potty glitter sack coats and hefty footwear on their gigs.
A little bit later these eccentric outfits were adapted in a slightly moderate modification in the so called disco era. A pioneer among many others is the band Abba. The disco style also showed much ballyhoo, bling-bling and glitter on the stages and hip clubs. Flashy glitter shirts, complex styled flared pants and whole costume combinations could be found there. We have specialised, near shoes with glitter effects, in shirts and sack coats. These are used and worn today for Schlager events, 70s parties or gigs for diverse motto jollifications and other show and stage presentations, next to for example the legendary ruffled shirts as tops. Our Comycom disco and glitter shirts are available in diffenet materials, coloures and styles.
