How and where to measure pants correctly?

A) Determine the exact waist size:

-- A short description to quickly find your correct size in CM / Inch to determine.

Step 1)

-- We measure the simple waist width of our own, well-fitting jeans trousers - see Photo 1:

Step 2)

-- In order to be able to compare your own, well-fitting jeans trousers with one of our flared trousers, we now measure our own trousers with an approximate one same waist height as our trouser models. (Body height approx.24 cm - waist height, see photo 2 below)

** EXPLANATION of size names / ABBREVIATIONS:

-- waist width = waist (English), measured in inches = waist width or width of the trousers.

-- Our trouser sizes are always marked in the INCH measurement defined as the standard by US manufacturers. The common one for jeans The size label is structured as follows: the first size information always indicates the waist size, abbreviated as W (stands for width). and the second value is the length, abbreviated as L (stands for Length). The first size W therefore denotes the waist width, the second Size L, the length of a corresponding bootcut or flared trousers.

Example: W29/L36 --> means waist width 29 INCH and length 36 INCH.

TIP - If you're not sure about the size you want to order, it's best to take your own pair of well-fitting trousers and measure them once shown in the first two photos above.

Step 3)

-- The trousers to be measured should not be extremely low or very high cut trousers, otherwise the information cannot be accepted. Our STAR flared trousers have a rise height (inseam length) of 24 cm (please make sure you always have your own trousers with the same waist height / inseam length). for comparison, otherwise it is unfortunately not possible to compare the trousers with our models. The waist height determines the superstructure or the seat of the Trousers are decisive).

-- Find the simply measured value in cm - value in the waist width in cm table. » can be found under the corresponding navigation tab "Size" at the very bottom of the article view next to the description. Example photo of a Star flared trousers size chart see below this text.

Determine your exact leg length:

B) A small description to quickly find the right length in CM / INCH.

** EXPLANATION of size names / ABBREVIATIONS:

-- Length = Length (English), measured in INCH = inside leg length of the trousers.

-- 1) Measure the inner leg length of flared trousers in the CM:

-- Please take a pair of trousers that fit well in length and measure them from the crotch point (see photos below) where the seams cross, along the inseam of the leg to the bottom of the leg.

-- This resulting CM value in the size table below "inner leg length in cm" (inner leg length / cm).

-- In the table row above (length/inch) you will now find your corresponding inch length!

-- 2) Measure the outer leg length of flared trousers in the CM:

-- Alternatively you can also measure from the top of the waistband along the outer leg seam and use this value in the Size table » Search for “outside leg length / cm”. You can find the corresponding inch value in the size table » "Length / Inch" above. The values for the strike distance can also be found (simply measured) in the tables next to the description of the article. (Picture below length table)
